About Everyday Heroes Program

In every outpatient surgery center, there are workers who go above and beyond, and truly make an impact on people's lives. One Medical Passport’s clinical team understands that the hard work and sacrifices of many outpatient surgical facility staff often goes unnoticed due to the fast-paced, stressful environment of these facilities. The Ambulatory Surgery Everyday Heroes Program was created to recognize, celebrate, and reward these unsung heroes.

Think about the people at your surgical facility who are truly remarkable. Maybe it’s the single mom scrub tech who puts herself through college to get her nursing degree, the janitor who takes exceptional pride in his/her job and works all night, every night, to make sure that the center is spotless when the first patients arrive at 0600 the next morning, or the nurse who goes on medical missions every year to help the less fortunate. These individuals are Everyday Heroes.

How It Works:

  • Nominate your Ambulatory Surgery Everyday Hero below
  • 1MP's Everyday Hero Program Committee will select the Top 10 Contestants
  • Panel of judges will select the Top 3 Finalists
  • Audience will vote to determine our 2021 Everyday Hero

Awards

Everyday Heroes Top 10 Contestants will receive:

  • $100 Gift Card

Everyday Heroes first and second runners-up will receive:

  • $500 Gift Card

2021 Everyday Hero will receive:

  • $2,500 cash prize
  • $2,000 to the charity of the Hero's choice
  • $500 to buy lunch for the Hero’s outpatient surgical facility

Program Rules

Ambulatory Surgery Everyday Hero Program Rules:

  • Nominee must be a staff member at an outpatient surgical facility
  • Nominator must fill out all form fields below
  • Facility Administrator must verify the nominee in order to be selected as the Ambulatory Surgery Everyday Hero

Who Should I Nominate?

  • A single mom scrub tech who puts herself through college to get her nursing degree
  • A nurse who battles cancer and returns to work
  • A janitor who takes exceptional pride in his/her job and works all night, every night, to make sure that the ASC is gleaming and spotless when the first patients arrive at 0600 the next morning
  • A nurse who goes on medical missions every year to help the less fortunate
  • A scrub tech who survived domestic violence and now donates her time to help women at a women’s shelter
